Clean Eating

Clean eating has so many different meanings and ways of being perceived in today's world. I am going to talk about what clean eating means to me and what has worked for me in my healthy lifestyle journey. Again, these are my views on clean eating, it doesn't mean it is right for everyone!



Rules of Clean Eating

1. Stay away from anything that comes in a package (few exceptions)

2. If there are more than 3 things on the label that you can't pronounce, don't eat it

3. Don't deprive yourself! It will lead to binge eating! Give yourself a weekly cheat meal to keep yourself sane

4. Eat 5-6 smaller portioned meals a day every 3-4 hours. This will help you feel satisfied all day.

5. DRINK LOTS OF WATER

6. Don't beat yourself up if you eat something you shouldn't have. You are always 1 meal away from getting back on track... remember that!
